We were able to secure a contract for summer grading and gravel work on lower Pony Express. Mike Flanick and Eric Powers did an excellent job of reaching out for bids even before the board was elected, which helped us avoid delays. We obtained four estimates, and after careful consideration and follow-up questions to two of the vendors, we decided to move forward with Mountain Ridge Dirt Worx. They will be responsible for grading and improving ditches on all the roads, as well as placing some additional donated gravel in areas on lower Pony Express. They will be out in the next few weeks so be on the lookout for equipment on the road.
